Well, turns out, 3 kids is slightly more time consuming than 2. Who woulda thunk?
So since it's been about 2 1/2 months since I've posted anything, I'll try to bring you up to speed.
First and foremost, I have put our pictures on SmugMug instead of Flickr. More on why later, but if you'd like to get to them go to the slideshow on the left and click on "CLICK HERE".
January:
- It snowed quite a bit. More snow on more days than we've had in years
- Matt turned the big 3-5. Mom bought him a cake and, yes, it says, "Happy Birthday Mr. Awesome"
- I ate lunch with Mad at school just for the heck of it. Her teacher e-mailed me and said everyone in the school knew about because she was so excited.
- We signed Cullen up for Tee-Ball. Practice starts next weekend. He is VERY excited.
- I spent way too much time taking pictures of Ollie's bottom
February:
- As per tradition in this house, Ollie started with avocado as we introduced solids. He enjoyed it thoroughly.
- There was a little football game that my team happened to win. Hmmm, what was the name of that game?
- Everyone but Matt got the flu. Ollie got it worst with an upper respiratory infection thrown in too. My tolerance for exhaustion was genuinely tested that week. I don't wish it on anyone.
(sick Ollie)
- I got a new flash. It rocks my world and let's me take pictures like this one.
- There was a Daddy/Daughter dance at Mad's school. I bought her a new dress and Matt bought her flowers. They went out to eat before and had an amazing time.
March:
- Not a whole lot has happened so far this month, but the weather has been lovely. We played outside last weekend and Matt did this. You'd think I'd be terrified, but instead I ran inside for my camera.
- Also, Ollie can almost sit up without falling over. He still has to prop himself with his arm, but he's getting close!
So you're caught up. Oh, one more thing. I'm starting to take pictures VERY part time (once a month-ish so far). The idea, though, is that I will do it full-time when all of the kids are in school. It's become a passion and it's workable around a school schedule so it's a win-win if you ask me. Wish me luck!
