Happy Father's Day!

Any Daddy that sings his son lullabies before bedtime while unknowingly being video taped and then lets his wife broadcast it to the world is pretty fantastic in my book.

Happy Father's Day to my husband and all of the other fantastic dads out there.

I can take pictures too

I have been getting some really great shots of the kids with my new child camera.

Nothing but CLASS in the Foreman house!

This was taken at my brother Charlie's 13th birthday party.

He tried really hard to get that party favor to work. These were taken after attempt number 463.

"Hey Mad. Hold the worm up to your face, will ya? I need a close-up."

Oh boy those eyes. They're dreamy.

I'd mentioned in Monday's post that Cullen will not smile for my camera, no matter how hard I try. Mad, on the other hand, has no trouble.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Sorry it has been so long for one of these. Mad's camera turned into Mama's camera until I got my new one and she didn't get a chance to shoot much.

So I've noticed something alarming in Mad's pictures. She is taking better pictures of Cullen than I am. For whatever reason, Cullen will stop what he's doing, turn, and smile for her. Every time.

Do you want to see what kind of pictures I get out of him?

That's right. Pitiful.

A Flashback

This picture was taken about 3 weeks after Mad was born.

There are several things I could be thinking in this shot.

a.) I am so tired. Actually, I'm more exhausted than tired. Is there a word stronger than exhausted? Because that's what I am. I'm that. What were we talking about?

b.) What are you doing? Don't touch that baby's hand. So help me, if you wake her up... Stop. STOP IT.

c.) zzzzzzzzzzzz (I can sleep with my eyes open) zzzzzzzzzzzz

I can't say I miss those days.

Mama tells you what to do

If you see any movie this summer, it HAS to be Up! We saw it on Sunday and it is this Pixar freak's favorite Pixar movie by far! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get cool 3-D glasses (if you see it in 3-D).

So go see it! Right now.
